Liz Brazier Memorial Library

Liz Brazier Memorial Library
posted 16 Jul 2021
This morning, we invited Liz Brazier's husband, Darren, into school to present him with a plaque which will be put up in the library.  As you know, some time ago the School Council voted to name the library after Liz in memory of her and all her wonderful work at Coleham.
As 6Y were Liz's last class (who are still in school), we were keen to do the presentation before they left with them present.  We also presented Darren with a horseshoe, which was made by the whole class and Liz when they went on a trip to Acton Scott back in Year 2.  Lucy from 6Y explained beautifully how they had all made the horseshoe together.
It was a really lovely presentation, very fitting, especially as her last class were present and I think she would have loved the new library, so it is a perfect idea to name it after her.
