Eco Day, led by Mrs Howson on Friday 20th September, was a huge success with children hugely enthusiastic about the positive changes we can make to help our planet.

We started with a big ‘switch off’ turning off electricity within the school – no computers in the classrooms or lights in offices and even a cold sandwich option from the kitchen!

We had a really positive Eco March around the whole school with children coming in t-shirts with peaceful slogans and banners that they’d made in and out of school.  It was lovely to see so many parents and friends come to the gates to watch and support all the children sharing their ideas for helping our planet.

Bunting was displayed along the railings with the 420 letters that had been written to our local MP requesting for support on making a difference.
